Description:

Placer County is currently recruiting for a Senior Auditor. The Senior Auditor in the Auditor-Controller’s Office, Internal Audit Division, is responsible for leading and conducting performance, operational, financial, and compliance audit projects which includes the audit scope, audit program, objectives and plans; communicating audit results and recommendations to management; providing key input to the development of the annual internal audit plan; and supervising, training and coaching internal audit staff. The current vacancy is permanent/full-time.

Qualifications:

Experience: Two years of responsible journey level professional financial, operational, or compliance auditing experience performing duties similar to an Auditor II with Placer County.

Training: Equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in accounting or a related field.
