$8,177 – $9,890 / Month

Description:

Will serve as subject matter expert in the areas of management reporting and electronic business systems, by managing and testing MCERA’s pension software database, implementing/maintaining all software, building and device access, and providing hardware/software support. You will identify ways to most effectively use existing systems; provide training and develop job aids for end-users; assist with the implementation of new systems; collaborate with key users from MCERA’s business units and other administrative departments, including the Information Services and Technology department, the Finance department and the pension software system provider to coordinate the implementation and ongoing support of technology system solutions.

Qualifications:

Equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree in business administration, computer science, accounting, finance, HR, payroll, purchasing or related field and two years of journey-level experience that would provide knowledge of department-specific programs, processes and operations, including experience in the planning, implementation, oversight and utilization of automated information systems/applications used to support departmental activities. Candidates will be organized, dependable and flexible; have advanced Microsoft Excel skills; experience using databases, business intelligence analytics applications and reporting platforms such as IBM Cognos, Crystal Reports and/or Oracle report writing tools; experience with data analysis; and ability to work with technical/non-technical end-users at all levels.
