$91,811 – $130,208/Annually

Description:

Reporting to the District Attorney, this management position assists the District Attorney in establishing policies and procedures and supervising the staff in the Investigations Unit. This position is involved in responsible and difficult investigative work. Under general direction, manages, coordinates, and reviews the District Attorney’s Investigation unit; oversees and evaluates District Attorney Investigator peace officer qualifications; assists prosecuting attorneys with the organization of facts in preparation for trial.

Qualifications:

Equivalent to a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Criminal Justice or a closely related field, and four years of progressively responsible law enforcement experience, including increasingly responsible criminal investigation work which would demonstrate the possession of the above knowledge and abilities; or any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities. Possession of a valid California Driver’s License; Possession of a valid Advanced P.O.S.T. Certificate; Possession of a valid Supervisory P.O.S.T. Certificate or a valid Management P.O.S.T. Certificate is desirable.
