Description:

The County of San Diego’s, Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) is currently recruiting for a Chief.

HCD’s mission is to promote safe, affordable housing opportunities and improved communities in the San Diego region. We are seeking a dynamic, experienced and highly motivated, leader to oversee its Rental Assistance Division. The Chief is an at-will management position. Under the direction of the Assistant Director, the incumbent will be responsible for day-to-day oversight and administration of the Rental Assistance Division. 

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements: possession of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, or certified equivalency for foreign studies, AND, five (5) years of experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the essential functions of the job classification to include two years of management or supervision; OR, a combination of experience and/or education as stated above
