$162,697 to $221,748

Description:

The Chief Information Officer reports to the Deputy Executive Officer for Support Services and serves as the primary resource and advisor on the latest information systems technology to all County departments and as its department head, provides direction to the Information Services Department (ISD). Additionally, this position develops and maintains a strategic plan that embodies County-wide and departmental needs, emerging technologies, and available resources with responsibility to review departmental IT plans to ensure conformity to adopted strategies.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, information technology, business/public administration, or a closely related field AND a minimum of five years of current high-level management experience in a comprehensive IT department is required. A Master’s Degree is highly desired.
