Salary:

$83,588 – $107,340 annually, plus excellent benefits (including up to $27,551 annually towards the cost of benefits).

Description:

Plans, manages, and coordinates development and maintenance of citywide communications systems. Responsibilities include analyzing technical requirements and feasibility; developing project proposals; developing and preparing bid specifications and Requests for Proposals; evaluating and making recommendations of selection of vendors to secure necessary equipment and conducting installation and maintenance; directing and coordinating installation and ongoing maintenance of radio communication systems, and performing basic maintenance and troubleshooting, systems, and data networks experience.

Qualifications:

Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be:
Education: Equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree from an ac-credited college or university with major course work in electrical, electronic or mechanical engineering, telecommunications, computer science, or a related field.
Experience: Five years of progressively responsible project management experience involving regional or statewide telecommunications systems.
