Description:

The chosen candidate will work under the direction of the Human Services Agency Administration Deputy Director. Job duties will include management responsibility for information technology operations and activities within the Human Services Agency. They would also provide expertise and direction in technical areas such as systems and applications development and maintenance, data processing, local and wide area network development and administration, office automation, website development and maintenance, and associated technical services support.

Qualifications:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Note: Incumbents who, at the time that Classification Study #01-22 is adopted by the Board of Supervisors, occupy full-time Civil Service positions reclassified to this class by the study, shall be deemed to meet the requirements listed below. Education: A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in computer science, information systems, mathematics, business administration or a related field. Experience: Five years of increasingly responsible, professional analytical information systems experience including two years in a supervisory capacity.
