$53.95 – $65.57 Hourly

Description:

Land Use: Requires a strong land use background, including demonstrated experience with or interest in cannabis laws (including the Adult Use of Marijuana Act (Prop. 64), the Medical Cannabis Regulation and Safety Act, and Sonoma County’s own Medical Cannabis Land Use Ordinance and Cannabis Business Tax), the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and other land use and environmental laws, such as the State Planning and Zoning Law, Subdivision Map Act, Clean Water Act, and Endangered Species Act. Land Use attorneys may be assigned to work closely with the Permit and Resource Management Department (Permit Sonoma), the Planning Commission and other clients in reviewing public and private development projects and other matters.Infrastructure position: Requires strong transactional and advisory experience, preferably with public entities. The attorney may work with the Department of Transportation and Public Works, the Registrar of Voters, the Sonoma County Agricultural Preservation and Open Space District, the General Services Department and others.

Qualifications:

Experience in complex transactional matters, including public works, real property transactions, conflicts of interest, public procurement, construction law, and/or transportation matters desirable
