Description:

The Department of Homeless Solutions and Equitable Communities (HSEC) is currently recruiting a Director to lead the Office of Homeless Solutions. This position will be tasked with managing the programs and services of the Office of Homeless Solutions by leveraging existing regional partnerships and working with cross-sector community stakeholders to prevent, reduce, and eliminate homelessness in the San Diego region.

Qualifications:

A bachelor’s degree from an accredited U.S. college or university or certified foreign studies equivalency AND five (5) years of management level experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the essential functions of the classification. Experience must include at least one year of supervision. Note: A master’s degree or higher degree may substitute for a total of one (1) year of experience and cannot be applied to the required one year of supervision.
