$154,398.46 – $187,672.29

Description:

An ideal candidate is knowledgeable of federal and state civil and criminal laws and regulations including, but not limited to the California Family Code, Welfare Institutions Code and Penal Code provisions, Federal Title IV-D and State Child Support Enforcement Program, and County Department of Child Support Services as well as the respective duties, powers, limitations, and authority. An ideal candidate is versed in federal and state regulations involving automation efforts and system development and has experience with budget preparation and monitoring. A strong candidate has excelled in personnel administration including development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies, procedures, work standards and internal controls and is a team leader. A top candidate also possesses political acumen and decorum, and is capable of building and maintaining positive and effective internal and external stakeholder relationships. Qualifications:

Education: Possession of a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university preferably with a major in Business Administration, Public Administration, Psychology, Sociology, Political Science, Criminal Justice, or other related disciplines; AND Experience: Four years of management experience which included responsibility for directing or administering a major portion of a child support services organization. Experience in the State of California preferred. Special Requirements: Possession of a valid Class C California Driver’s License is required. Must be able to pass an extensive background check. Independent travel will be required.
