Description:

The County of San Diego is seeking a dynamic leader who creates public value, stewardship, engagement,
awareness and authenticity for the position of Director, Department of Public Works (DPW). This is an excellent executive opportunity to work for a progressive award-winning agency in beautiful San Diego.

Qualifications:

A bachelor’s degree from an accredited U.S. college or university or certified foreign studies equivalency AND five years of management level experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the essential functions of the classification. Experience must include at least one year of supervision. The ideal candidate will possess a current registration as a Professional Engineer by the State of California.
