Description:

Executive management experience, including advising elected officials and working in a political environment, is preferred. Knowledge of law and principles related to flood protection, water resource management, modern water law, and state and local water history is desirable.

Qualifications:

A minimum of eight years of recent experience in the active practice of law in the State of California, including at least five years of progressively responsible experience in public agency/ municipal law, and including two spent supervising management, professional, and paraprofessional staff, is required, although equivalent experience will be considered.
