Description:

The Position
This executive-level position of Executive Officer is an at-will position reporting directly to the JPA Board of Directors. Through competent and professional staff, the Executive Officer will administer and oversee all operations of the JPA consistent with goals and objectives established by the Board of Directors. The Executive Officer, as the chief executive of CCA, has responsibility for all CCA activities, including oversight of personnel, development and administration of all policies, regulations, programs and activities.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience
Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in public or business administration, architecture, engineering, construction management or similar fields of study.

Experience: This position requires increasingly responsible experience in the design/construction field, in a comprehensive construction management program or in a public agency, that includes demonstrated experience in an administrative capacity, OR strong management and leadership skills as a “generalist” as an executive level administrator of a comparable size organization. Ideally, candidates will have executive level experience interacting with a governing board of directors.
