Description:

Qualifications:

Education: Graduation from a four-year college or university with major coursework in construction management, facilities planning, engineering, business administration, construction technology, or closely related field. Related experience may be substituted for up to two years of the education at a rate of two years of experience to one year of education. Experience :Facility Project Specialist I: Four years of progressively responsible experience in construction project management and capital projects planning; managing the construction and design of small to moderate size capital improvement and construction projects, ($50,000-$300,000). Facility Project Specialist II: Four years of progressively responsible experience in construction project management and capital projects planning; managing the construction and design of small to moderate size capital improvement and construction projects, ($50,000 – $300,000); and two years of experience managing progressively complex projects exceeding $300,000; or two years of experience as a Facility Project Specialist I with Mendocino County.
