Description:

The Grants Program Manager oversees the County’s program to secure external sources of funding in support of disaster recovery projects and resiliency initiatives. Working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary staff, the Grants Program Manager provides leadership and guidance to County departments on funding strategies, identifying recovery needs and priorities, developing and preparing grant proposals, and making grant policy and procedure recommendations to optimize effective grant administration.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:
•Program and project management skills, including experience managing administrative projects
•Experience applying a methodical and analytical approach to meet grant and government agency requirements
•Demonstrated ability to set priorities and organize work responsibilities to ensure completion of assigned tasks in a timely manner
•Exceptional writing skills, with prior grant writing experience preferred
•Keen attention to detail in producing high quality deliverables
•A collaborative work style, and the ability to perform in a cross-functional team
•Excellent critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
•Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
•Advanced MS Office/business technology skills
