Description:

The County of Nevada, California, located in the scenic Sierra foothills, seeks an Information Systems Analyst I/II to research, recommend, design, code, test, implement and maintain information systems for business processes; work closely with users and others in the analysis, development, implementation and use of applications; prepare and maintain program documentation and training materials; and analyze, create and organize information and applications for enterprise and public electronic distribution.
 

Qualifications:

Minimum requirements include (IS Analyst I): a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, preferably with course work in computer science, information technology, business administration or a related field; or two years of course work plus two years of experience comparable to Nevada County’s classification of Information Systems Analyst Trainee. IS Analyst II (in addition to the above), two years of experience at a level comparable to Nevada County’s classification of Information Systems Analyst I.
