Starting salary up to $8,912/month* ($106,944/year), and a competitive total compensation package! If you are interested in applying at the Junior Civil Engineer and/or CA Certified Engineer-In-Training levels of this opportunity, you must apply to the separate recruitments being conducted for each level. TPW civil engineers perform a wide variety of field and office professional engineering work in County projects related to: bridges, structures, highways, flood control, solid waste disposal, and/or water/wastewater, electrical, mechanical, and traffic control systems.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate: • Is detail oriented and has the ability to work independently and prioritize daily activities • Has proven analytical and problem-solving skills • Is experienced with engineering software • Has effective written and verbal communication skills • Is a team player, who builds productive working relationships with colleagues, management, the public, contractors, and representatives of other County departments and agencies
