Salary:

$71,281 to $87,027 annually

Description:

Administer network equipment such as switches, routers, battery backups, network appliances, VoIP phone systems, analog phone systems and video surveillance. Additional duties may include small project work and coordination with vendors. Position actively involved in daily troubleshooting needs in collaboration with computer technicians, network and applications analysts. Key concepts and technology skills that the position requires OSI network model (L1 to 4), network diagnostics and troubleshooting, basic routing concepts (RIPV2/OSPF/BGP) across multiple networks, network functions and protocols such as TCP/UDP, DNS, DHCP, QOS, VLAN (802.1Q and 802.1ad). Qualifications:

Key concepts and technology skills that the position requires OSI network model (L1 to 4), network diagnostics and troubleshooting, basic routing concepts (RIPV2/OSPF/BGP) across multiple networks, network functions and protocols such as TCP/UDP, DNS, DHCP, QOS, VLAN (802.1Q and 802.1ad), network security, administering, configuring and managing enterprise-class networking hardware using a combination of command line and web-based toolsets, and availability to perform after hours maintenance when necessary.
