Qualifications:

Education: Graduation from a four-year college or university with a degree in public administration, business, human resources management, or a related field. Experience: Personnel Analyst I: One year of recent experience in technical, professional or administrative personnel work, preferably in a public agency setting. Personnel Analyst II: Two years of professional-level personnel experience which must include as a primary responsibility one or more of the following: classification and compensation studies; recruitment and employment testing; handling grievances; collective bargaining; or conducting personnel investigations. Personnel Analyst III: Three years of professional-level experience as a personnel generalist in a public agency setting performing a broad range of personnel functions. License: Possession of a valid, appropriate California driver’s license issued by the Department of Motor Vehicles.
