Description:

The Community Services Department, Parks Division, and the Planning & Development Department are currently accepting applications to fill full-time vacancies for a Planner III.

Qualifications:

•Two years of experience performing duties equivalent to the class of Planner II with Santa Barbara County; OR
•An advanced degree in urban and regional planning, AND one year of journey-level professional experience developing land use policies or regulations or applying zoning regulations, community plan policies, CEQA, NEPA, and other ordinances or policies in a land use planning environment; OR
•Six years of a combination of training, education, and experience that is equivalent to one of the employment standards listed above and that provides the required knowledge and abilities.
