Description:

The Workforce Development Board (WDB) of Solano County is now taking applications to fill its President/Executive Director position. The incumbent must be experienced in administering/operating a full range of workforce development grants and programs as well as administering all financial, personnel, labor relations, procurement/contracting, Board support and other related activities/obligations of a stand-alone 501(c)3 non-profit organization. The WDB has existed since 1982 with the majority of financial resources through grant or contract funds. The agency’s current program year budget is $6+ million with 43 full-time positions which includes a highly experienced Senior Management Team. Initial filing deadline is March 4, 2017 at 5:00 p.m.
