$116,488.74 – $141,597.04 Annually

Description:

The County of Yolo is recruiting to fill one (1) regular, full-time position in the class of Principal Civil Engineer at the Department Community Services.

To plan, organize and direct the work of professional, technical and office support staff of an assigned division in the Planning, Resources and Public Works Department. To coordinate activities in the area of project management and construction; performs highly complex engineering work; and other related work as assigned. The incumbent reports to the Assistant Director of Planning, Resources and Public Works.

Qualifications:

Education: B.S. degree in Civil Engineering; AND
Experience: 5 years of experience as a registered Civil Engineer performing difficult and complex civil engineering projects. 2 years of this experience must be in management capacity. A Masters Degree may be substituted for one year of experience.
License: Possession of a valid certificate of registration as a civil engineer.
