Description:

The County of Sonoma Probation Department seeks a qualified professional to join their Planning, Implementation & Evaluation team! The Planning, Implementation & Evaluation (PIE) team exists to meet the goals and objectives of the Probation Department and the Board of Supervisors in their commitment to Evidence Based Programs and Practices (EBP) through a series of activities organized around a structured implementation framework.

Through participation in the PIE learning team, the Probation Program Quality Analyst will carry out project management activities for planning, implementation, and/or evaluation. This position will focus on correctional, health, and human service programs provided to youth and adults within the juvenile and criminal justice systems. The Probation Program Quality Analyst position has an emphasis on research, writing, planning, analysis, communication, training, and monitoring activities.

Qualifications:

Typical duties/responsibilities include:

• Identifying, developing, and analyzing information on local service needs and resources; designing and developing studies to determine client needs and gaps in services; developing assessment methodology, including determination of data collection, data management, and analytical techniques; gathering, validating, compiling, managing, and analyzing data
• Managing significant programs or initiatives that support Department and County strategic direction; convening and facilitating meetings with community leaders, the public, representatives of government and other organizations related to area of assigned responsibility; developing and maintaining positive relationships with partners

• Strong analytical and decision-making skills
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Demonstrated experience applying statistical and qualitative analysis
• Familiarity with EBPs in correctional, health, and human service programs
• Advanced computer skills and internet research capabilities
