$101,358 – $123,739 annually

Description:

The County of Nevada, California, located in the scenic Sierra foothills, seeks a Program Manager – OES to plan, organize, and coordinate the County’s Emergency Management Program and prepare the county to respond to disasters and local, State, and national emergencies; formulate, update, and maintain the County’s Emergency Services Plan; and manage emergency operations in the County’s Emergency’s Operation Center.

Qualifications:

Minimum requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in environmental health, a physical science, business, social services, sociology, psychology, or field related to one of the previously mentioned, and three years of experience in the program field at the advanced journey level, preferably in a community-based organization involving program development; or a Master’s degree in field mentioned above, and two years of related experience.
