$6,460.00 – $7,853.00 Monthly

Description:

This position is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the field inspection activities of the Building Division and to perform the types of duties assigned to positions in this series. Including: performing inspection of complex structural building systems at various stages of construction, alteration and repair, ensuring conformance with approved plans, specifications, codes, ordinances and laws, providing direction, and acting in the absence of the Chief Building Official. Sr Inspectors are required to be trained in all procedures related to area of responsibility, and are expected to act as a lead and train staff and report to the Chief Building Official.
