Napa County is currently seeking to fill 1 (one) current full-time vacancy within the Human Resources Department, a division of the County’s Executive Office. The eligible list established from this recruitment may be used to fill current and future full-time, part-time, limited term, and extra help positions as they occur over the next 12 months. The ideal candidate for this position will be professional with a positive, customer-service approach to public and internal service provision, and enjoy working in dynamic, demanding environments that require calm, steady oversight. The ideal candidate is someone who has experience with public sector recruitment (executive level and line staff) as well as supervisory experience. They remain curious, are comfortable showing unfinished work to solicit input and feedback, and value a team environment where mutual support and accountability are primary.

Qualifications:

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge, skills, and abilities would be: Experience: Three years of professional human resources experience comparable to that of a Human Resources Analyst II with Napa County. Education: A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in human resources administration, public administration, business administration, or a related field. Additional human resources experience in excess of three years may be suitable substitution of Bachelor’s degree. License or Certificate: Possession of a valid California Driver’s License.
