Description:

The Sheriff-Coroner is an elected office, for a four-year term. The currently elected Sheriff-Coroner will retire 9/18/2020. By state law, the County Board of Supervisors shall appoint an individual to complete the remainder of the term which runs through 01/02/2023. All applications submitted will be a matter of public record and interviews for the appointment will be held at a public meeting.
