Salary:

HRA I – $3,690-$4,484/mo.; HRA II – $4,272-$5,193/mo.; Sr. HRA - $4,946-$6,012/mo.

Description:

Performs highly responsible and complex professional level human resources work; tasks may include the following:

• Perform a wide variety of professional generalist duties in the areas of recruitment, exam development, selection, classification, compensation, labor relations, employee development and training, discipline, grievances, etc.
• Assist in the development and implementation of human resources strategies and procedures.
• Serve as resource specialist /consultant in one or more personnel/human resources functions.
• Conduct or participate in investigations of on a variety of issues such as sexual harassment, discrimination, discipline, etc. Advise department heads and administration regarding findings and recommendations resulting from investigations. 

Qualifications:

HRA I: BS/BA or equivalent with major course work in business or public administration, psychology, industrial relations, or related field.

HRA II: BS/BA or equivalent with major course work in business or public administration, psychology, industrial relations, or related field & 2 yrs. of professional level HR exp.

Sr. HRA: BS/BA or equivalent with major course work in business or public administration, psychology, industrial relations, or related field & 4 yrs. of professional level analytical HR exp. with 2 yrs. exp. in a public agency.
