Salary:

$90,420.30 – $108,987.32 Annually

Description:

Under general supervision, the Systems and Programming Analyst II designs or modifies, and monitors computer application systems; assists system users with the resolution of computer application problems; and performs related duties to help support the data collection and reporting needs of the department.
The Ideal Candidate:
• Experience developing SQL queries across multiple, complex databases
• Experience documenting data requirements and developing/leveraging a data glossary and data dictionary to precisely extract data to meet those requirements
• Knowledge of and experience using modern data analytics platforms like Tableau and Crystal Reports

Qualifications:

1. Completion of 24 quarter/18 semester units of college-level courses in the principles and methods of systems analysis, systems design, computer programming using a language utilized by the hiring department, and 2years of increasingly responsible applications analysis experience with the type of business application and computer environment used by the hiring department; or,
2. Two years of experience as a Systems and Programming Analyst I with SBCounty with the type of business application and computer environment used by the hiring department; or,
3. Combination of training, education, and experience that is equivalent to one of the employment standards listed above
