Description:

This recruitment is being conducted to fill one full-time Victim Witness Program Manager vacancy in the District Attorney’s Office. This position is considered at-will and will serve at the pleasure of the Napa County District Attorney. The eligible list established by this recruitment may be used to fill future full-time, part-time, limited term, and extra help vacancies as they occur over the next 12 months.

Qualifications:

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge, skills and abilities would be: Experience: Four years’ experience providing social services in any of the following areas: services for children and families, services for older adults, and/or victims of crime. Two years of this experience must have been in a lead or supervisory capacity. Education: Graduation from a college or university with a degree in sociology, gerontology, psychology, criminal justice, public administration, business administration or a closely related field. A Master’s degree is highly desirable. Additional work experience as a victim witness advocate maybe substituted for the required education on a year per year basis. License or Certificate*: Possession of a valid driver’s license.
