Description:

The General Manager is an executive-level position responsible for all operations of the Agency. The General Manager represents the Agency in relations with the community and other government agencies; handles complex oversight and technical water management; flood control; and planning, research, and conservation functions. The Agency is independent from the County, but both entities collaborate closely.

Qualifications:

Completion of all coursework leading to a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, environmental engineering, hydrogeology, hydrology, public administration, business administration or a closely related field. Five years of progressive managerial experience, that includes at least two years of experience at the executive level within a complex water related organization. Experience reporting to an elected and/or appointed board is highly desired. Possession of a valid certificate of registration as a Professional Engineer or Geologist is desirable.
