November 2, 2021
CSAC is only as strong as its membership. This week’s Profiles in Leadership spotlights Debra Lucero, who is currently in her first term as Butte County Supervisor for District 2. Supervisor Lucero has been a strong partner of CSAC’s priorities and currently serves as the Butte County representative on the CSAC Board of Directors. Supervisor Lucero serves as Chair of the Resilient Counties Advisory Board and Vice Chair of the Arts and Culture Commission and Environment, Energy and Land Use Committee for the National Association of Counties. In addition, Supervisor Lucero was recently elected to serve as Vice President of the Latino Caucus of California Counties. A sixth generation Butte County resident, Supervisor Lucero has over 20 years of experience in economic development and local advocacy, working to enhance the agricultural, fiscal, and educational interests of her community. Thank you, Supervisor Lucero, for your ongoing leadership on behalf of California Counties.
