The National Association of Counties (NACo) is pleased to
announce the Opioid Solutions Leadership Network: a learning and
leadership-building community of county leaders pursuing
innovative and evidence-based solutions to the opioid epidemic.
The Opioid Solutions Leadership Network will identify and convene
county leaders from across the country who are leading efforts to
invest opioid settlement funds in strategies that save lives,
address the needs of people with substance use disorders and
prevent future harms.
Who should apply?
County elected officials (e.g., county
commissioner/supervisor, executive) OR members of a county’s
decision-making body on allocating opioid settlement funds (e.g.,
county agency director, administrator).
Interested in exploring a wide range of strategies for
the prevention of opioid misuse, the treatment of opioid use
disorder, supporting recovery from opioid use disorder and
reducing harms from opioid misuse.
