The County Medical Services Program (CMSP) Governing Board is
launching the CMSP Healthcare Infrastructure Development Matching
Grant (HID Matching Grant) Program to assist CMSP counties
develop expanded facility capacity to provide healthcare and
behavioral health services to underserved populations, including
CMSP beneficiaries.
The purpose of the HID Matching Grant is to assist CMSP counties
and their contracted non-profits in meeting local financial match
requirements of healthcare infrastructure funding opportunities
provided by state, federal or other programs. Up to $10 million
will be awarded under this program. Awards will range up to
$500,000 or 5 percent of project costs, whichever is less, for
projects serving one CMSP county; and, up to $1 million or 5
percent of project costs, whichever is less, for projects serving
two or more CMSP counties.
The following CMSP county departments/agencies are eligible to
apply:
Behavioral Health
Health
Health & Human Services
Public Health
Additionally, these county entities may apply on behalf of a
non-profit organization in the county that is under contract to
the county for the delivery of health or behavioral health
services to underserved populations including CMSP beneficiaries,
and that non-profit organization has received or is seeking a
federal, state, or other grant for healthcare infrastructure
development that requires a local financial match.
HID Matching Grant applications will be accepted on a
rolling basis,beginning February 1, 2023,
through June 1, 2023. Applications will be
considered as they are received and will be submitted to the
Governing Board for consideration at an upcoming regularly
scheduled public meeting of the Board. More information about the
