CSAC Advocates for Debris Removal Local Cost Share Waivers

CSAC has requested funds from the Administration and Legislature to waive the county match cost requirement for debris removal for the Southern California counties impacted by Governor’s declared disasters from the 2017 fires and 2018 mudslides. This waiver was included in the Governor’s May Revision of the budget for Northern California counties, but not Southern California counties.
CSAC will continue to work with senior level Administrative and Legislative staff to make sure that Southern California counties get the resources they need to fully recover from disaster.
