The California Department of Conservation (DOC) will host
workshops to inform how $50 million in funding should be
allocated for forest biomass projects that generate
carbon-negative hydrogen and/or liquid fuel within the Sierra
Nevada. This will be a competitive grant process. There will be
two online Request for Information (RFI) workshops in April:
April 5 1:00-4:00: Public RFI Workshop
April 7 1:00-4:00: Tribal RFI Workshop
The workshops will be recorded and made available online. A
workshop agenda – including webinar registration information –
RFI questions, and program factsheet will made available in the
coming weeks.
