The California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES)
has posted a
Request for Application (RFA) for the
High Frequency Communications Equipment Program. Funds may be
used to procure high frequency communications equipment,
including the installation of and training to use such equipment.
California Alerting Authorities designated by the Federal
Emergency Management Agency Integrated Public Alert and Warning
System, Emergency Operations Centers, and County Sheriff’s
Offices are the only eligible Applicants.
The program will be able to fund up to 100 applicants with up to
$60,000 per applicant. Funds will be distributed on a
first come, first serve basis based on the availability of
funds. Applications must be received by 5:00 p.m. on
Tuesday, February 8, 2022.
