Local Aging and Disability Action Planning Grant Applications Now Open

The California Department of Aging (CDA) has released a Request for Applications (RFA) for the Local Aging & Disability Action Planning (LADAP) Grant Program to support local communities in planning and creating their own age- and disability-friendly action plans. Allocated in the 2022-23 state budget, the LADAP Grant Program will provide $4.5 million in competitive grants to up to 36 communities. Eligible applicants include cities, counties, tribal organizations, non-government organizations, and community-based nonprofits that represent a community without a local age-friendly plan.

Applications for the LADAP grant program are due by Friday, March 24, 2023 at 5:00 pm. Additional information on the grant program, including application templates and a recording from a virtual listening session, can be found on the LADAP Grant Program webpage.
