The California Health Facilities Financing Authority (CHFFA) is
pleased to invite California counties to submit applications for
the Community Services Infrastructure Grant Program (CSIGP)
during the Second Funding Round. The CSI Grant Program intends to
expand access to jail and prison diversion programs and services;
create or expand mental health treatment facilities, substance
use disorder treatment facilities, and trauma-centered service
facilities in local communities; and reduce the need of mental
health treatment, substance use disorder treatment, and
trauma-centered services in jails and prisons.
The application is available on the
CSIGP webpage on CHFFA’s website. Applicants are
strongly encouraged to carefully read and refer to the
regulations for the program because they provide
definitions of terms and more detail regarding the program’s
requirements. Reading the
statute that authorized CSIGP will also be very helpful
