FY 2023 Opioid Affected Youth Initiative

Through the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention’s (OJJDP)’s Opioid Affected Youth Initiative, counties can receive funding to develop coordinated responses to opioid and other substance use-related challenges that impact youth and community safety. Funding may be used to support programs and services to youth and families impacted by both opioids and other substance use disorders. You can watch a recording of a past solicitation webinar here. Applications are due on grants.gov by May 16, 2023, at 11:59 PM ET.

FY 2023 Second Chance Act Addressing the Needs of Incarcerated Parents and Their Minor Children

This program will provide funding to support states, counties, and community-based organizations to develop programs within detention or correctional facilities to respond to the needs of incarcerated parents who have children younger than age 18. Applications are due on grants.gov by May 30, 2023, at 11:59 PM ET.

FY 2023 Second Chance Act Youth Reentry Program

The Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention’s (OJJDP)’s Second Chance Act Youth Reentry Program provides funding to support states, counties, and community-based organizations to develop programs to provide comprehensive reentry services for moderate- to high-risk youth before, during, and after release from confinement; support transitional services to assist youth’s successful reintegration into the community; deliver relevant training to key stakeholders positioned to impact youth’s reentry process; and support a robust training and technical assistance program. OJJDP will host a webinar on May 4, 2023. Applications will close on grants.gov on May 23, 2023, at 11:59 PM ET.
