CSAC would like to share that the California Department of
Corrections and Rehabilitation’s (CDCR) Pine Grove Youth
Conservation Camp is an available resource for both Secured Youth
Treatment Facility (SYTF) Step Down youth and youth who have not
committed a 707a(b) offense.
The ability to send the youth requires that the county have a
contract with Pine Grove. The cost is $81.00 per day for the
first two weeks (training period) and thereafter, $10.00 per day.
Each county must have its contract for the court to send a youth
to this program. You do not have to reserve and pay for beds
ahead of time.
