National Water Conference’s Regional Spotlight:

On June 1-2, 2021, the National Waterways Conference (NWC) will
be holding a two-day virtual meeting for interested stakeholders
and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE). The sessions will
work to educate on USACE’s civil works functions, discuss agency
processes and delve deeper into how to develop a strong working

California Floodplain Management Virtual
Training:
Sponsored by FEMA Region 9 in partnership with California DWR,
this
series of workshops will discuss floodplain management
principles, the NFIP, and state standards. Target Audience:
Floodplain administrators, elected officials, building officials,
and permit and zoning officials are welcome to attend.
