Webinar Description: Climate extremes bring
challenges and opportunities for increasing resilience in
agriculture and communities. Drought impact assessments are
useful to identify systemwide vulnerabilities and downstream
effects from water shortages. Impacts from the recent California
drought are discussed along with insights for water management,
planning and policy in light of new groundwater regulation and a
globalized economy.
