The CSAC Health and Human Services (HHS) Policy Committee will
meet January 25 to continue a discussion on Platform
Updates. CSAC staff will also provide an update on the state
budget and the Affordable Care Act.
During Annual Meeting in December, the HHS Policy Committee
reviewed proposed platform changes to the HHS and
Realignment chapters of the CSAC Policy Platform. However, the
Committee asked staff to undertake another round of edits to
incorporate the uncertainty at the federal level regarding the
Affordable Care Act. On the January 25, the HHS Policy Committee
will review the updated drafts of these platforms chapters that
