The Providing Access and Transforming Health (PATH)
Justice-Involved Round 3 application window will open May 1 and
will remain open until July 1, 2023. Last week, the Department of
Health Care Services (DHCS) released
draft guidance. PATH Justice-Involved Round 3 provides grants
to correctional agencies and other eligible entities to support
both planning and implementation of justice-involved re-entry
services, including investments in capacity and IT systems that
are needed to support Medi-Cal justice-involved reentry services.
Beginning May 1, eligible entities may apply for funds via the
PATH
Justice-Involved Portal. Eligible entities include county
sheriffs’ offices, county probation offices, CDCR, and county
behavioral health agencies. DHCS will be hosting an informational
webinar on May 2 from 3:00 – 4:00 p.m. Interested applicants are
